Representatives of The Faculty of Sport , “Union-Nikola Tesla” University: Dean – Prof. Ivanka Gajić, PhD, Asst. Prof. Jelena Ivanović, PhD, Vice Dean for education – Asst. Prof. Nemanja Ćopić, PhD, Vice Dean for science – Asst. Prof. Ivana Parčina, PhD and Asst. Prof. Svetlana Petronijević, PhD, participated in the 11th International Symposium “New Technologies in Sport – NTS 2019” held recently in Sarajevo.
For many years, The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Sarajevo has been organizing this event, creating an environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences, as well as for the advancement of science and practice.
We took the opportunity to visit our hosts in Sarajevo and learn more about how their diagnostic center works. On that occasion we talked about potential cooperation on projects and about our future collaborative scientific work.
On the first day of the Symposium, during the opening ceremony, the hosts gave letters of appreciation and acknowledgments to friends of their faculty, including our dean.
On the next day, after the opening lecture, to mutual satisfaction, we officially started our collaboration by signing the international Agreement by Prof. Haris Alić, PhD, dean of The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, and Prof. Ivanka Gajić, PhD, dean of The Faculty of Sport, “Union-Nikola Tesla” University.
The focus of this agreement is on academic exchange that means participation of students and professors in scientific, teaching, publishing, cultural and other ways of collaboration, and all with goal in strengthening our educational relations, development of scientific research, using full intellectual and cultural capacities and taking the best from achievements of high education institutions in field of education and science.
Professors from The Faculty of Sport had their active participation on this meeting with three scientific papers which were presented in the form of poster presentation on the second day of the Conference.
